Where did you learn to draw?
Like a baby spider who intuitively knows how to spin a web, I have always known how to draw, even before I could walk. During my graphic education I learned to fine-tune my technique, but other than that I have never attended any additional drawing classes.
What kind of materials/software do you use?
I mostly draw on paper, using a mix of pastels, graphite pencils and colored pencils, sometimes adding watercolor or white marker for subtle highlights. I also like to start my rough sketches with a (non-photo) blue pencil. When working digitally, I use Procreate with an Apple pencil.
Do you take on commission requests?
At the moment, I’m not accepting commissions due to a too busy schedule. I want to ensure I have enough time and energy to deliver the quality work you deserve. In the future I’ll reassess and see if I can make room for commissions. Thank you for your understanding!
What advice would you give to aspiring artists?
Just take the first step! You don’t need to see the whole staircase - trust that each step will appear as you move forward. Every great artist started somewhere, facing doubt and uncertainty. Keep taking small steps, and sooner than you expect, you'll see your dream take shape!
Is art school necessary for building an art career?
No, it's not a requirement to build an art career. Attending art school can be beneficial, but whether it will help you depends on your situation and learning-style. Nowadays there are plenty of resources available to teach you. The work in my portfolio was made outside of art school.
Where and what did you study?
I studied Graphic Design at Artevelde College in Ghent (Belgium). I chose an education in this field because it allowed me to develop a more diverse skill set - which was beneficial for my future career - while still providing an outlet for my passion for drawing.
Who/what inspires me?
From a young age I was inspired by the Disney movies and drew my favourite characters wherever I could - even on the walls! Later on I began following other artists online and the classical masters - which I studied during my education - also influenced my style.
How can I get in touch?

The artworks which are for sale are indicated with "Prints available". This link will redirect you to my INPRNT shop. I’m also in the process of developing tutorials, including free ones, to share my knowledge and help others grow their creative skills. So, stay tuned for updates!
If you weren’t an artist, what would you be doing?
If I didn’t have any creative interests, I think I would have studied engineering or computer science. Although I have no formal mathematical background, I enjoy doing mathematics, and as a counterbalance to drawing, I also like working on technical projects.
